   A little about me

Fitness has been a part of my daily life since I was in college. Before then I dabbled a little in different activities but did not really play sports growing up.  In fact, my mom's favorite story to share is after begging to take dance classes, I decided to stop because it made me sweat.... Now my day does not really start until after a good workout filled with sweat.

In college, running was a way for me to clear clutter from my head and the gym became a place I could get away from roommates to study for classes while on the stair-master.  I would watch others lift weights and then try the same moves.  Before long I was hooked on feeling strong, healthy and full of energy so I changed my focus and career path to getting degrees in Health Promotion and Psychology to help others discover the benefits of living healthy.

I spent 20 years in corporate health and wellness working with many employees/employers teaching fitness classes, creating wellness programs and coaching clients on the importance of healthy choices.  I believe every person has the ability to make choices that lead to a healthier life.  With the right tools and support these choices can even be fun!  I truly believe that exercise is the best medicine and now more than ever it is so important to keep physically active.

Starting 3toWellness during a pandemic came from my desire to find ways for people to remain healthy, active, and socially connected (yet distant) during this ever-changing environment.  So what are you waiting for?  Let's get started!
